Half Day sightseeing of Marrakech per Person = 12 €

 

Half day will be devoted to the historical visit of Marrakech , Second of the four Imperial  Cities founded 1062 A.D. Rose-red city at the foot of snow-capped atlas mountains. It is a city in the grip of a delirious imagination.

The Historic visit of Marrakech will include the Menara, a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, reflecting the image of a beautiful Moorish construction built in 1866 for the dignitaries.

The tour will see several impressive sights: The Koutoubia Minaret (the twin tower of la Giralda in Sevilla, Spain), the Saadian tombs demonstrating Moorish architecture in its perfection.

Other sites include: the museum of Dar Si Said with the best display of Berber arts and crafts to be found.

The Bahia Palace still hosts dignitaries in the heart of the Mellah (Jewish quarter) then a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech and djemaa El Fna square: the ancient meeting point of the tradesmen in Northwest Africa, with its entertainers ,singers, dancers, acrobats, jugglers, story-tellers, public-scribes, soothsayers, medicine-men, dentists, snake-charmers. etc…

 

Half Day Excursion To  Ourika Valley per person = 15 €.

 

The road runs for about 19 miles across the Haouz Plain and then turns off toward the site of ancient Aghmat, an abandoned village founded by the Haoura Berbers before the arrival of Islam. By the late 10th century it was a rich regional capital but the town was subsequently captured by the Almoravids and gradually declined in importance, as Marrakech grew. Al that remains of the original buildings is the mausoleum of Moatamid Ben Abbad, an Andalousian poet-prince who was taken prisoner during  the conquest of Seville in 1091

 Half Day Excursion To Asni/Ouirgane  per person = 15

 

Morning drive across the high Atlas scenery to Asni Ouirgane (65km) where you’ll discover La Roseraie and the neighbouring areas, Berber hamlets and stupendous landscapes of forests, mountains and valleys. The local souks at Tahnaout and Asni (which take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays) are a wonderful opportunity to photograph colourful and traditional rural hamlets which are bustling with activity. This secret and harmonious countryside will revitalize you with its pure air and rustic traditions. You will discover an idyllic retreat lay in the countryside and surrounded by 25 hectares of parkland, rose gardens, lime and lemon groves, orchards and carpets of wild flowers. Nature lovers and all those who needs to escape from the fast pace of urban life will find Asni Ouirgane & La Roseraie the perfect place to be.

Full Day Excursion To Essaouira including lunch  per person= 45

 

We depart by bus in the direction of the Atlantic coast to the ancient Portuguese city of Mogador , now called Essaouira where Orson Welles made his Othello , the film of the Shakespearean tragedy . in his book says that the battlements of Mogador provided the framework for an imaginary dramatic architecture that walls endowed with all the grandeur and beauty of real , natural stone , worn by centuries of wind and sun.

The 60’s  music legends Jimmy Hendrix and the rolling stones were drawn to its idyllic charm , which continues today to lure musicians and artists alike to the sparkling whitewashed fishing village trimmed with the brilliant  azure of skies.

The tour is in the blue and white medina , so much different  from any other in morocco , with its wood artisans , spices and magic shops.  You have free time to enjoy around the swimming pool of the hotel where the lunch will be served  .

  Full Day Excursion To Ouarzazet including lunch per person=45

With the crossroads between the valleys of Drâa, of Dadès and Ziz, Ouarzazate the beginning of the tour marks by dazzling the traveller with two splendid kasbahs. That of Taourirt, old residence of Glaoui, is confusing of beauty. Turns emergent of a mass of tight houses the ones with the others, push their crenels towards the blue of the sky, dispute the first place with the sun. That of Aït Benhaddou is located at 30 kilometres of the city. Imagine a splendid sand castle posed as by magic in a field of almond trees in flowers. So beautiful, playing so well with the light which it was the decoration many films, of which "Lawrence of Arabia" and "a tea in the Sahara". Titrate of nobility; this Kasbah is registered with the world inheritance of UNESCO. Starting point of the road of the oases, Ouarzazate is also the point of arrival of the cultures and the craft industry. In its souk, Sunday, are with profusion henné, pinks, cumin, armoire distilled, beside potteries Berber, of objects out of cut stone, covers and the famous carpets Ouzguita, blue or gold yellow, with the geometrical drawings. Ideal stage, Ouarzazate grants a marvellous relaxation in its hotels, all splendid. Generous, hospital, it prepares carefully with the extreme feelings of the desert.
